packing for Vegas!

I'm a visual person.  I've already made a very detailed list of what I'll be wearing each day during my trip Vegas this weekend, even down to what accessories I'll be wearing to the pool!  But a list wasn't enough for me, I had to take it one step further.  So here is my visual packing list!  (Well, part of it anyways!  Still have to fine tune a few things.)


Dress / Necklace / Sandals / Bracelet 

Dress / Necklace / Bracelet / Shoes 

Dress / Necklace / Shoes / Bracelet 

Except that I'm not actually wearing pink heels on the colored dress night.  I had this great idea to paint an old pair of shoes I had bright pink, but it didn't work out the way I envisioned.  So I'll just be wearing black shoes!

Tony went to Vegas two weekends ago, and temps reached over 117 degrees!!  That is too hot to handle.  I just checked the forecast and am relieved that they've dropped a bit.  Looks like it will only be around 99 degrees this weekend.  I can handle that!  I am SO excited, I love Vegas!

P.S. Today's my birthday!! ;)

    First happy birthday!
    Second welcome to my world. 117 is the norm. It's ridiculous and I hate it. That's why I live in the pool and sit in my central ac all day haha. I can't wait til we move back home to OC where the weather is fabulous always.

    Third I love this idea of packing. I'm so this way too. I just lay everything out and then go from there matching accessories and shoes and all that. I do that on a daily basis haha I love fashion and dressing up. And it's even worse for James. I go crazy planning his outfits!

      OMG i would die if 117 was the norm! It's considered sweltering here if it gets above 80. You're from the OC? That was my favorite show! Haha.

      Yep I lay things out too. I would do it on a daily basis if I wasn't so lazy!! I wake up at 5am and just throw something on, luckily I'm able to dress casual at work. Happy Wednesday!!

      Aww thanks Brittany! Right now I'm stuffing my face with my birthday lunch, which is a grilled cheese sandwich WITH MAC & CHEESE INSIDE!!! Lol. Yum.

    I am cracking up over your visual list. I usually just pack waaaaaay too much shit in my suitcase, you got it all planned out. And I envy you, I never dress up on a plane, and I always regret it cause there's always girls like you lookin all hip and stylish. That dress is kick ass.

      I realized over the years that maxi dresses are so much more comfy than jeans, so it was an easy transition. :) and i hardly ever dress up so its a good excuse. I still need a hat for the pool. I'm not a hat person so I'm having trouble finding one! Guess my head is weird. Lol.

      Thanks!! The last dress I actually wore in Vegas last year but I only got one picture in it so I figured it's worth another wear. :) It sure is short & tight though!!

      I chose the wrong color of pink, and also was lazy so didn't use a primer. They need a few more coats so I may work on it later, but not for vegas. :)
