My family and I spent the weekend at Birch Bay, which is about 2 and half hours north of my house. We rented three separate cabins, and spent the weekend visiting the
waterslides, playing in the bay, riding go-karts, playing mini golf, playing games at the cabins, cooking way too much food, and just enjoying each other's company. The weather was perfect!
Here's my
instagram recap:
Hope you had a lovely weekend in the sunshine!
This looks like so much fun!!! Hope you enjoyed it!!
ReplyDeleteIt was fun, I think James would have loved it! ;)
DeleteFun! Creepy statue...for sure.
ReplyDeleteI've never been up to Birch Bay but hear it's nice! Or the islands (what??!!) Guess I need to add that to my bucket list.
There were creepy statues all over the rental houses!! I can't believe I lived in Bellingham for two years and never spent the day in Birch Bay! You will have to go sometime. :)
DeleteLooks like you had a blast!!
ReplyDeleteIt was good to spend some quality time with the fam. :) The sunshine didn't hurt either!
DeleteFun I've never been there!!
ReplyDeleteIt's only like 20 min from Bellingham, and it has a giant water park! Can't believe we never drove up there. Maybe the water park is new or something.
DeleteGorgeous, gorgeous pictures!! Although, that statue may give me nightmares! Are those Jelly Belly's inthe last pic?
ReplyDeleteThere were creepy statues everywhere by the rental cabins!!!! And yes my nephew brought a giant box of jelly bellys, and I probably devoured half the box!!
DeleteWhat a beautiful place! Have you tried the popcorn-flavored jelly beans? They're surprisingly good.
ReplyDeleteHaha yes I tried them in high school and hated them! This box had a flavor called chili mango that was awful! And hot as an actual pepper!
DeleteLooks like you guys had a blast! Our coast trip was super fun too. One of these summers we should pick a beach town between the two of us and meet up for a weekend.
ReplyDeleteI would love that!! Tony looks for any excuse to visit the Oregon coast so I'm sure he'd be down! We are actually taking Chloe to cannon beach on Saturday and tony is going to try to teach us to surf. :) Hope I don't drown!
DeleteBrr, that just sounds cold! If you drown, we can make a trip happen so please don't do that OK??? Lol.
DeleteYou just have the cutest children in your family!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could take credit! Haha.
DeleteSleeping in cabins = my idea of camping!!
ReplyDeleteEspecially if its on or near the beach.
Or the mountains.
Because usually camping & bugs are not my favorites.
I totally agree!! Cabins are way better than tents. Even though I slept in a tent over the weekend at Cannon Beach... I still prefer a cabin 100% of the time. ;) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteHey lady! I nominated you for the Liebster Award :) Check out my blog for the deetz
ReplyDeleteFun!!! No fair! I miss the bay!
