Family time, Beer & Netflix

Happy Monday!

Considering I've had a head cold (or maybe allergies??) for the last 6 days, I still managed to have a pretty decent weekend.  I'm at work right now and hoping my cubicle-mates don't hate me too much for my constant nose-blowing and throat clearing.  Sorry guys!

Tony's sister and her boyfriend made a trip over from Spokane this weekend, so we got to show them our new house and also one of our favorite places to eat in Gig Harbor, Tides Tavern.

It was such a gorgeous, sunny day so the four of us spent some time walking through downtown and looking at the water, which gave me a serious case of yacht-envy.

Tiff & me!

Not ready for the day to end yet, our next stop was 7 Seas Brewery.  This place is awesome!  They don't serve food but they let you bring your own.  We sat out front in the little patio area.  It was so nice out!

We ended up going home with a growler of...something.  I can't remember what Tony got but it was a little too dark for my taste!

Nice photobomb, Tony!

On Sunday, Tony spent most of the day surfing at Westport, so I stayed home and nursed my cold while watching the entire second season of United States of Tara on Netflix.  Seriously, you must watch this show if you haven't seen it!  I love it so, so much.

What did you do this weekend?  Link up here and tell me all about it!

  1. Sounds like a fun weekend! Sorry to hear about your allergies, mine have been horrible lately. There is SO much pollen in the air it is ridiculous. The lady front and center in that show is a great actor! Happy Monday!

    1. Our cars get a nice layer of pollen on them every day, so that's nice. Good thing I like the color yellow. ;) And yes she is an amazing actor! I don't even know her name. I should learn it. I don't know if you've seen the show but she plays a woman with multiple personalities, and she's SO GOOD at playing all of them! Even a man! :)

  2. Look at you, up and blogging again! That place where you bring you own food sounds awesome. Steve would looooooooooooove that, he is so into his fancy beers. I'm not sure I would have noticed Tony in that pic if you hadn't mentioned it!

    1. Haha yeah Tony is so sneaky with his photobombs! No-one noticed it on instagram. :) We thought about bringing a pizza next time we go, but I feel like we'd get evil glares from everyone around us if we don't share, haha.
