football fun

Hi everyone!  I hope you all had an amazing weekend.

I had a super lazy Saturday, which can sometimes be just what the doctor ordered for this girl.  Tony headed towards the coast to spend a few hours surfing (yes, surfing in January - that's commitment!).  This meant that while he was away, I had unlimited control of the remote control.  Hello Real Housewives!  It felt so good to catch up on all my girly shows.  I also stumbled upon My-So Called Life on Netflix and was so excited!  I was obsessed with that show in middle school.  Do you realize it's been 19 years since that show originally aired??  So crazy.  But I'm pleased to report that Jordan Catalano is just as hot as ever.  Swoon!

Today we headed over to Leeza & Andrew's house to watch the Seahawks game, which we of course won!  Go Hawks!  I'm the first to admit I'm not a huge sports fan, but football games are always a great excuse to get everyone together and get a little rowdy.

One of my favorite parts of the day were these two little pups, Murphy and Devin.  They met each other for the first time today, and spent most of the game chasing each other around the house.

Aww, Murphy!  Who could resist those eyes?

Devin is only 4 months old and is the sweetest little thing!

The girls & the pups.

After the game ended, the boys played a few rounds of ping pong while the girls went upstairs to discuss Leeza's upcoming wedding.  Can't wait for that!

Boo-hoo, the weekend is over now.  I am not happy that I'll be hearing the sound of my alarm clock in just 6 short hours.  But I'm ready to kick this week's butt.  Bring it on, Monday!

  2. sounds fun! we went to the beach sat too - you saw the pics-- those waves are HUGE! i couldn't imagine anyone getting in that freezing water and actually surfing!!! i'd like to watch that! Sunday was super lazy for us b/c our hot water went out and we had to wait half the day for the landlord to come fix it, so none of us got showers! so i spent most of the day in my robe, lol! I hate renting!!

    1. I know, he is so crazy surfing in the freezing cold! He wears a full wetsuit... But still, I would never be able to do it! Sucks about your heater, glad you got it fixed though! Miss you!

  4. How awesome is it that Netflix has My So-Called Life?? That show was my high school obsession. (Yes, I am showing my age here.) And Jordan Catalano? siiiigh. Even though watching these now as an adult and realizing what a douchebag he was, he is still hot haha!

    1. OMG! I was literally just telling my boyfriend the same thing... When I first watched the show I didn't realize how vapid he was lol... All looks and no brains. Funny how different things seem once you're all grown up.

  5. Something totally creepy and absolutely awesome: I'm wearing that same Seahawks shirt as you in my blog post yesterday! Love me some Hawks fans, so immediately I like you.

Also, totally random, but your Twitter tells me you're in Gig Harbor?! I grew up in Bremerton!

    1. Oh wow that is so awesome! I think I got that shirt off ebay? All I know is it's way too small! Haha. I will have to check out your blog post too and share some t-shirt love. And yep I'm in Gig Harbor! I just moved there a little over a year ago, I was in Seattle before. Still work in Seattle actually, so it's quite the commute! I don't think I've ever been to Bremerton but I've been to Allyn, does that count?? :)
